23-1 August 22, 1994 The Mooresville Town Council met in special session Monday, August 22, 1994 at the Mooresville Town Court at 7:30 p.m. to hold the pre-adoption public hearing for the 1995 budgets. Council members present were Dick Heald, Steve Ballard, Steve Edwards, Tim Viles and Pat Overholser. No members were absent. Mrs. Shirley Welker, 763 North Indiana Street, appeared before the Council questioning numerous budget line items. There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Ballard. The Mooresville Town Council will meet in special session Monday, August 29, 1994 at the Mooresville Town Court at 7:30 p.m. to adopt the 1995 budget. Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Ballard to approve the 1995 budget as advertised. Motion carried unanimously. Councilman Edwards asked President Overholser to poll the council to see if the council had any desire to purchase the First Methodist Church on Indiana and Harrison Street. The council unanimously has no desire to purchase the First Methodist Church. There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman Edwards. Motion carried unanimously.
