' <br /> <br /> September 6, 1994 <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session Tuesday, September 6, <br /> 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Court. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Steve Edwards, Dick Heald, Tim Viles and <br /> Pat Overholser. Council member Steve Ballard was absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the August 16, August 22 and August 29 1994 meetings were <br /> approved as submitted. ' <br /> <br /> The following bids for the south side sewer extention were opened: <br /> <br /> Sweeney Construction $574,281.00 <br /> Fleetwood Contstruction 439,600.00 <br /> Kmjima 431,000.00 <br /> Titan 360,109.00 <br /> Eagle Valley, Inc. 375,815.50 <br /> Weitzel Construction 396,000.00 <br /> Reynolds, Inc. 377,993.50 <br /> American Contracting & Svcs. 374,000.00 <br /> Mitchell & Starke 419,806.14 <br /> <br /> The Council will take the bids under advisement and will act on them at the <br /> September 20, 1994 Council meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ron Miller of the Brookmore Subdivision appeared before the Council <br /> requesting annexation for Brookmore Subdivision and access to the Town sewer <br /> system. <br /> <br /> EDC Director Randy Haymaker advised the Council that he had talked to <br /> the county and the county is investigating obtaining a CFF Grant to extend <br /> sewer lines and other needed infrastructure to Brookmore Subdivision. <br /> <br /> The concensus of the Council is that if money can be obtained from a <br /> grant or other available county funds to pay for the necessary infrastructure <br /> for Brookmore Subdivision the Town has no objection to annexing Brookmore <br /> Subdivision. <br /> <br /> Ms. Cheryl Taylor of New life Wesleyan Church appeared before the Council <br /> requesting a roadblock for October 1, 1994. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Edwards to approve <br /> a roadblock for the New life Wesleyan Church for October 1, 1994. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman Edwards to <br /> approve a roadblock for the Mooresville Cheerleaders for October 8, 1994. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Viles to approve <br /> an availability agreement for K. D. H. Corporation in the amount of $126,620.00. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman Viles to approve <br />an availability agreement for Davis Development in the amount of $40,867.00. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Edwards to approve <br />Ordinance #13-1994 An Ordinance Rezoning land Within the Town of Mooresville <br />Upon the Application of Mooresville Partners, Inc. for rezoning property on <br />Bridge Street at State Road 67 from Agriculture to B-3. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman Viles to approve <br />Ordinance #14-1994 An Ordinance Rezoning land Within the Town of Mooresville Upon <br />the Application of Mooresville Partners for rezoning property on Bridge Street <br />at State Road 67 from Agricultural to B-3. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
