28? <br /> <br /> October 18, 1994 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held Tuesday, <br />October 18, 1994 at the Mooresville Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> Council members present were Tim Viles, Steve Edwards, Steve Ballard, <br />Dick Heald and Pat Overholser. No members were absent. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Curt Freeman, Assistant Superintendent of Mooresville School <br />Corporation, and Mr. Steve Miller, Director of Transportation for Mooresville <br />School Corporation appeared before the Mooresville Town Council requesting <br />the Town waive the $4,655.00 street cut permit for the construction at <br />Paul Hadley Junior High and Mooresville High School. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman Heald to <br />waive the street cut permits for Mooresville School Corporation in the <br />amount of $4,655.00 for the reconstruction project. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second by Councilman Ballard <br />to approve a Consent of Encroachment for lot 198, Rooker Trace, Section 6. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Viles to <br />release a letter of credit for Crafton Meadows Section III for paving. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Ballard to <br />release the following escrow amounts for Rooker Trace Subdivision: <br /> <br /> Rooker Trace Section II $8,102.69 <br /> Rooker Trace Section III 13.24 <br /> Rooker Trace Section IV 5,380.97 <br /> Rooker Trace Section V 6,883.34 <br /> Rooker Trace Section VI 22,639.77 <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Edwards, second by Councilman Heald to approve <br />the first reading of Ordinance #17-1994 An Ordinance Regulating Itenerate <br />Merchants in the Town of Mooresville. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> ~1 Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he had twenty-four (24) <br />~a!ls;'-~.ten (10) animals impounded, three (3) animals returned to their owners. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman Edwards to <br />pay the bills and claims. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town <br />Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Edwards, <br />second by Councilman Viles.
