236 <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles, second bY Councilman Ballard <br /> to approve a release of escrow for Rooker Trace Section IV and V <br /> in the amount of $31,651.80. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald, second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to reduce the White lick Creek Park Bond to $458,876.40, the <br /> original bond amount was $764,794.00. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Town Engineer Bill Abbott asked the Council if it was the <br /> desire of the Council to have him continue work on the intersection <br /> of Old State Road 67 and Indianapolis Road. The Council advised <br /> Mr. Abbott to continue work on this project. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor displayed a dog collar which <br /> shocks a dog that barks while wearing the collar. Mr. Taylor informed <br /> the Council that he has received numerous calls in regard to barking <br /> dogs and he feels this type of collar may help eliminate this problem. <br /> <br /> The Council discussed the current ordinance in regard to <br /> barking dogs and decided to have the current ordinance revised <br /> to impose stiffer penalties on owners of dogs which bark excessively. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he had twenty-one <br /> (21) calls, eleven (11) animals impounded and two (2) dogs returned <br /> to their owners. <br /> <br /> Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker advised the <br /> Council that he has been contacted by a developer in Hendricks <br /> County in regard to the Town of Mooresville supplying sewer <br /> availability to property located on the north side of County line <br /> Road. <br /> <br /> The consensus of the Council is that any agreements for the <br /> Town of Mooresville to service any part of Hendricks County would <br /> have to be between the Hendricks County Commissioners and the <br /> Mooresville Town Council. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Ballard, second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to pay the bills and claims. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br /> Town Council at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Councilman <br /> Heald, second by Councilman Viles. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> The next regular scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Town <br /> Council will be held Tuesday, October 18, 1994 at the Mooresville <br /> Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> P~esident ~ <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Clerk-Treasurer~ <br /> <br /> <br />
