The board reviewed quotes from four insurance companies <br />on $20,000.00 additional life insurance for town employees. <br />The board decided to obtain quotes on $50,000.00 additional <br />life coverage. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Overholser and second by <br />Trustee Heald to appoint Street Superintendent Joe Beikman <br />the IOSHA Co-Ordinator for the Town of Mooresville. <br />Motion Carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald and second by Trustee <br />Forbes to approve Ordinance #7-1989 Ordinance Adopting the <br />Indiana Fire Prevention Code. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Overholser and second by <br />Trustee Forbes to approve Ordinance #8-1989 Ordinance <br />Requiring Installation of Smoke Detectors in three or more <br />family dwelling units and Mobile Homes and certain manu- <br />factured housing. <br /> <br /> The board decided to pay 25% of the cost of the main- <br />tenance needed on the easement to the Waste Water Treatment <br />Plant. <br /> <br /> Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker asked the <br />board to confer with HNTB in regard to work done by HNTB <br />for the town. <br /> <br /> The board decided to have EDC Director Haymaker, Trustee <br />Edwards and Town Attorney Tim Currens meet with a represen- <br />tation of HNTB in regard to services HNTB has provided the <br />town. <br /> <br /> Fire Chief Jim Bruner advised the board that he is <br />working with Mooresville School Corporation in regard to <br /> a sprinkler system at Newby School. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Overholser and second by <br />Trustee Heald to approve the bills and claims. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the <br />Mooresville Town Board of Trustees at this time motion to <br />adjourn was made by Trustee Heald, second by Trustee Forbes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The next meeting of the Mooresville Town Board of Trustees <br />will be held Tuesday, June 6, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Clerk/Treasurer <br /> <br /> <br />
