The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Board of <br /> Trustees was held Tuesday, June 6, 1989 at Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Trustees present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser and <br /> Steve Edwards. Trustees absent were Mike Fiscus and Jack <br /> Forbes. <br /> <br /> In the absence of Board President Trustee Fiscus, Vice- <br /> President Trustee Edwards chaired the meeting. <br /> <br /> The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as sub- <br />mitted. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald and second by Trustee <br />Overholser to adopt Ordinance #9-1989 an ordinance to rezone <br />a two acre tract of land owned by Don and Karen Hancock in <br />the Mooresville Buffer Zone from Agricultural to General <br />Business. Motion Carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Overholser and second by Trustee <br />Heald to award the paving bid to the low bidder Waverly <br />Asphalt Co. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald and second by Trustee <br />Overholser to approve the contract with Greenwald Enterprises <br />for the mowing of the cemeteries. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Street Superintendent Joe Beikman informed the board that <br />he had been advised by the town attorney that Vivian Marsh <br />of 133 W. Washington Street had submitted a claim for payment <br />of shrubbery which the street department allegedly ruined <br />while cleaning a storm sewer. The board reviewed pictures of <br />the shrubbery and decided to refuse payment of the claim. <br /> <br /> Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker requested <br />the boards permission to contract a civil engineer for con- <br />sultation on the downtown sidewalk project if the need arises. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Overholser and second by Trustee <br />Heald to allow Randy Haymaker to contract a civil engineer <br />for the sidewalk project if the need arises. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The board agreed to Street Superintendent Joe Beikman's <br />request to transfer funds to sidewalk construction. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald and second by Trustee <br />Overholser to approve the following sewer exemptions for first <br />time swimming pool fills: <br /> <br /> Kay Tolle 141 Dunn Dr. Mooresville, IN <br /> Roger & Vanita Dotson 44 Brentwood Mooresville, IN <br /> James & Brenda Jones 54 East Harrison Mooresville, IN <br /> William Tilford 21 Dunn Dr. Mooresville, IN <br /> Jack Wrightsman 41 W. Harrison Mooresville, IN <br /> <br /> Due to the fact that the first Tuesday of July, which <br />is the night of the regular town board meeting is on July 4, <br />1989 the board decided to hold the first meeting of July on <br />Monday, July 3, 1989 at 7:30p.m. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Trustee Heald and second by Trustee <br />Overholser to approve the bills and claims. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the <br />Mooresville Town Board of Trustees at this time motion to ad- <br />journ was made by Trustee Overholser, and second by Trustee <br />Heald.
