Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by <br />Councilman Forbes to approve Ordinance #12-1989 an ordinance <br />concerning the refunding by the Town of Mooresville of its <br />Sewage Works Revenue Bonds. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by <br />Councilman Forbes to Vacate a Public Way located at 107 Hadley <br />Street, said Public Way lies between the property of Bruce and <br />Julie Marine and Hansford and Nancy Benge, with the stipulation <br />that the town is given an easement on this property. Motion carri~'~'--' <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by <br />Councilman Forbes to allow Indiana Bell a curb cut on North <br />Indiana Street just south of the Keller property. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The Council approved a request from WCBK to allow them to <br />use the phone jack in the front office of Town Hall to broadcast <br />the Old Settlers Parade. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by councilwoman Overholser and second by <br />Councilman Forbes to approve the Self-Insurance plan for all town <br />employees presented by the First Benefit Corporation. Motion carried <br /> <br /> Mtoion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by <br />Councilman Forbes to apply for an additional appropriation from <br />Federal Revenue Sharing Funds in the amount of $4,000.00 for <br />Engineering Services for the downtown sidewalk project. <br />Motion Carried. <br /> <br /> Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker reported to the <br />Council on the progress of the corner park. <br /> <br /> The Council reviewed quotes from two companies to construct <br />a dog pen 24 feet x 24 feet with garage doors on each side of the <br />building. Home Remodeling by Steve quoted $8755.00, Walter <br />Heschelman, Inc. quoted $10,900.00. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser to build the <br />dog building and to accept the lowest quote. Motion died due <br />to lack of a second. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by <br />Councilman Forbes to approve the bills and claims. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br />Town Council at this time motion was made by Councilwoman <br />Overholser and second by Councilman Forbes to adjourn. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> The next regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council will <br />be held Tuesday, August 1, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Clerk/Treasurer <br /> <br /> <br />
