August 22, 1989 The M~oresville Town Council met in special session Tuesday, A~gust 22, 1989 at 7: 30 p.m. at Town Hall. Council members present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser, Jack Forbes and Steve Edwards. Council member Mike Fiscus was absent. In the absence of Council President Fiscus Councilman. Edwards chaired the Meeting. Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwnman Overholser to approve the following budgets for 1990: Town Hall $339,782.00 EDC 69 037.00 Police Department 560. 690.92 Fire Departmmnt 281 493.70 Utility Department 33 984.00 Town Court 74 850.63 MVH 439 975.00 Park Fund 195 602.00 Park Bond 107 582.00 Man. Bond #1 21 200.00 LR & S 40 000.00 Motion Carried. Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman Overholser to allow the Brown Township Volunteer Fire Department to have a roadblock on Sept~nber 26, 1989 for Muscular Dystrophy. Motion carried. Motion was made by Council~c~Imn Overholser and second by Councilman Heald to allow the town to spend up to $2,500.00 on the preliminary study of a re- tir~nent program for town employees. Motion carried. Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilman Forbes to accept the sewer easement and sewer dedication from Hopkins. Motion carried. Motion was made by Councilwnman Overholser and second by Councilman Heald to approve the agreement with the Welty's in regard to their storm sewer. Motion carried. The Mooresville Town Council will meet in executive session Tuesday, Sept- ember 5, 1989 at 6:45 p.m. in regard to personnel. There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town Council at this time motion to adjourn was made by Councilwoamn Overholser, second by Councilman Heald. Motion carried.
