September 5, 1989 The Mooresville Town Council met in executive session Tuesday, September 5, 1989 at 6:45 p.m. at Town Hall. Council members present were Steve Edwards, Pat Overholser and Jack Forbes. Council members absent were Mike Fiscus and Dick Heald. The board was advised by Town Attorney Tim Currens that he is working with the property owners on South Park Drive to obtain easements for town sewer lines on their property. There being no further business to come before the board in this execut- ive session the session was adjourned. President ATI~ST: Clerk/Treasurer ~ September 5, 1989 The regular meeting of the Mooresville Town Council was held %hesday, September 5, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall. Council members present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser, Jack Forbes and Steve Edwards. Councilman Mike Fiscus was absent. In the absence of Council President Fiscus Vice President Councilman Edwards chaired the meeting. The minutes of the regular meeting held August 15, 1989 and the special meeting held August 22, 1989 were approved as submitted. Mr. Bill Abbott of the M~oresville Lions Club requested the Council include the recently acquired property at Old Town Park in the Lions Club lease of the park. Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman Overholser to include the recently acquired property at Old Town Park in the Lions Club lease of the park. Motion carried. Councilman Edwards informed the Council that he and Street Superintendent Joe Beikman would be going to Greensburg, Indiana on Monday, September 11, 1989 with HNTB to observe the process of slip lining sewer lines. He invited any interested council members to attend. It was also announced that HNTB would be holding their annual luncheon at the Westin Hotel, Wednesday, September 13, 1989 at 11:00 a.m. Ail Councilmembers are invited. Motion was made by Councilman Forbes and second by Councilwoman Overholser to approve Ordinance #14-1989 A Handicap Parking Ordinance. Motion carried. Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilw~mn Overholser to allow Mmoresville High School to hold their Homecoming Parade September 22, 1989. Motion carried. Econ~nic Development Director Randy Haymaker advised the board that the Mini-Park located on the corner of Main Street and Indiana Street would be dedicated on Friday, September 22, 1989 prior to the Homecoming Parade.
