Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman Overholser to approve the cleaning contract with Mc Mahon Cleaning Service. Motion carried. Motion carried. The next regular meeting of the M~oresville Town Council will be held Tuesday, September 19, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at Town, s. Hall. ~ President Clerk/Treasurer September 19, 1989 The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, Sept- ember 19, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. Council nmmbers present were Dick Heald, Pat Overholser, Jack Forbes and Steve Edwards. The Meeting was chaired by Council~ Overholser. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as submitted. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Catron, 217 St. Clair Street appeared before the council requesting payment for water damage done to their personal belongings during the recent rains. The council advised the Catron's that their claim will be submitted to the town's insurance carrier. The Mooresville Revitalization Comnittee requested that the Council enforce the two hour parking ordinance in downtown Mooresville. After discussion on the downtown parking problems, motion was made by Councilman Heald & second by Councilman Edwards to rec~est the M~es~. Police Department refrain from enforcing all two hour parkin~ laws until the board reviews all parking ordinances. Motion carried. Motion was made by Counciln~n Heald and second by Councilman Edwards to approve a standard Practice and Procedure bim~ual for the police deparOnent. Motion Carried. Economic Development Director Randy Haymaker informed the Council that the Paul Hadley Memorial located at the corner of Indiana Street and Main Street will be held Friday, September 22, 1989 at 5:00 p.m. The Council discussed the possibility of establishing a reward fund to help in identifying the persons responsible for defacing the stop signs in towel. Quotes will be obtained to repair the leaking roof over the police garage. The Town of Mooresville is scheduled to have their budget hearing before the State Tax Conmission on November 28, 1989 at 9:00 a.m. at the Morgan County Court House.
