A request was made of the council to replace sidewalks on the west <br />side of North Indiana Street, north of Citizens Bank parking lot in front <br />of property owned by Cyrus Gray, to help correct a drainage problem in <br />tbmt location. <br /> <br /> Motion was rode by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman Over- <br />holser to contact Mr. Gray requesting he elevate his driveway before the <br />town replaces the sidewalks in front of his property to insure better <br />drainage in this location. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilvxxnan Overholser and second by Councilman ,--~- <br />Heald to allow Halloween Trick of Treating to take place Tuesday, October i~ <br />31, 1989 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Town of Mooresville. Motion carried.,~ <br /> <br /> Due to the resignation of Council President J. Michael Fiscus motion <br />was made by Councilman Heald to elect Councilman Steve Edwards Council President <br />for the remainder of 1989. Councilwoman Overholser second. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Councilman Edwards had been serving as the Council Vice President, <br />therefore a vacancy in this position exits due to Councilman Edwards election <br />to Council President. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald mhd second by Councilman Forbes to <br />elect Councilwoman Overholser Council Vice President for the remainder of <br />!989.~ Motion carried~. -. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Council~uYmn Overholser <br />to approve the bills and claims. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville Town <br />Council at this time motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Forbes, second <br />by Councilman Heald.
